Problem accessing Parallax.com pages.

I'm using WinXPSvcPk3 and Mozilla Firefox 6.0.2.

Every page on parallax.com except the home page seems to generate an error page reading:

DotNetNuke Error: - Version 04.06.02

Index was outside the bounds of the array.

The homepage is still there, but any navigation requiring interaction with the database has been dot-net nuked.

I was tried a direct link to the EDDIE robot page and got the dot net nuke erro page. I thought Parallax just removed it - didn't realize the whole site was problematic!

    No sales until...

    -Ron

The Privacy statement and Terms of Use pages come up in addition to the Home page

Any search on Parallax.com now shows:

    "Service Unavailable"

Someone must be working the problem.

They don't need to take the site down to add new products. Could have been a hardware problem on someone's end.

The LRF was announced three days ago. Eddie was announced yesterday in conjunction with Maker Faire and Parallax's alliance with Microsoft Robot Development Studio.

The T-shirt has been on the site for two years or so. But out of stock for a while.

For those unfamiliar with it, DotNetNuke is a popular open source content management system (CMS) that runs on top of ASP.NET, which is the Microsoft-centric approach to PHP and dynamic page delivery. When an SQL backend goes down, which can happen if the SQL server crashes for any reason, or the connection to it is disrupted, the CMS cannot retrieve the data to create the page. It happens, even in the *nix/PHP/Perl world.

My guess is that Parallax's IT staff or network admins are on call, or happened to be working on Sunday, because the issue is resolved.

It is still NOT correctly resolved.

On this page http://www.parallax.com/eddie REDIRECT links on top of page don't function (Home, Store and all in this line)

The redirect links work for me. You (or your ISP) may have some cache refreshing to do.

They work for me, too, Phil.

@Sapieha, either your browser's cache, or your ISP's cache, has the old pages. Refresh your browser, or clear the cache. If it's your ISP's cache, the updated pages will appear eventually. You can also try quickening the process by dropping into cmd mode, and typing:

    ipconfig /flushdns
