Autonomous IR Roaming Problem

I hope this is the right sub-forum for my problem. I was running the "IrMultiBot" program ( page 122, IR REMOTE FOR BOE-BOT ) when i tried all its routine. With the Remote Control and the "object find and follow", no problem. When i choose the Autonomous IR Roaming, my bot starts and then, after detecting and object and going backward, it automacally resets, waiting for the remote. If i try to re-select the autonomous ir roaming, it starts for just few sec, then stops.
