    I saw that watch and I asked my wife and my mother-in-law what they thought about it. There is nothing wrong with it but its just that they don't think it is elegant. But it is a nice project.

    I'm looking at other alternatives but I think a watch with surface mount LEDs would be more elegant. I'd probably want a graphical LCD on mine.

    My other concern is wearing something that could be damaged by static electricity as I suffer from static electricity.

    Its a nice thing to broadcast your interest in microcontrollers but its not something I would wear every day.

    TI gave away something similar using an MSP430 with an LCD in connection with one of their 430 day promotions a few years ago. I've still got mine

    They claim it should raise my geek level up several notches. ( Although my family calls me a dork )

    I am currentlly machinning a aluminum case for my wrist.

    Products from ThinkGeek make the same claim. I'd be lying if I said I didn't buy into that once in awhile. Of course, the same can be said for my impressive Parallax collection, most of which I accumulated long before coming to Parallax. :cool:
