    I did a copy and paste of the "link location" of your thumbnail and pasted it between [noparse]and[/noparse] (forward slash, not backslash) tags, and got this:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=84760&d=1314932421

    This is what I see when I right click on the attachment.
    Also in my testing I never got far enough to discover the back slash was wrong
    in the [/img] tag

    I tried copy shortcut and as you see in my edited post it put the url between the tags

    "Copy Shortcut" is probably what you want. (Microsoft sure has a weird way of stating it!)

    I tried that as shown in my edited version of my original test post.
    All I get is the url shown in blue.

    Thank's for looking at it.
    Way past my bedtime, more experimenting tomorrow.

    You've got to paste that url between and tags, all on the same line..
