Thanks Jeff and everyone for their hard work in setting up another wonderful UPENE meeting.
Watching the robots roll around was wonderful, even if that meant getting your foot run over a few times.

It appears that the tradition of Jeff (OBC) being pursued by robots and shot with Nerf darts continued!
A good time was had by all!!
I have three younger siblings that all told me that they are definitely coming next year!

I'm glad you had a great time. Last year was my first and I loved it. It's turning into a yearly thing for me and I look forward to being able to take my son when he gets old enough. I plan on attending the one in Illinois next year along with Ohio.
Thanks to everyone for putting on the expo!!!
(Sorry if my kid shot you or ran over you with a robot)
Hightlights:
* Robots, Robots, Robots! I loved seeing all of the cool robots entered in the Best of Show contest.
I only wish I had more of the mechanical skills to participate in robot design. I guess I'll settle for helping Gramps with his arm for now. As long as there are only nerf items being launched, I'm perfectly happy with being chased by youth-designed robots!
Speaking of youth! We had over 20 young people in attendance! Sponsors, let's plan something special for them next year!
Quality People Everywhere! The collective IQ of this group is off the chart! I saw all kinds of amazing ideas presented. Robots you can build for less than a couple bucks. Prop2 information. Just hanging out with all of you is a privilege! I always come back from an expo physically exhausted, but mentally energized when I see what is possible. UPEs are good for engineering soul.
I'm still recovering, but I'm pleased by how the show went.
More Later,
OBC
