Maybe they can get a guy from Pepsi to take over.
Note to corporations: People and talent aren't sustainable resources; headcount and "valued assets" are!
I wish Steve all the best in this difficult time... and I know that Apple is in capable hands with Mr. Cook. (BTW... Tim Cook has been the acting CEO since Steve took his first leave of absense.)

I've never been an Apple fan (love my iPhone!). But, I have always been a big fan of Steve Jobs.
I will give him my hopes and prayers.

Nonetheless for a tech company, he leaves Apple in very good shape. It apparently has little or no debt and is easily in the top 5 of market capitalization on the stock market. If they were to start bundling OSX in a manner similar to what M$ does, I wonder how many of us would chose an Apple OS over a M$ product.
And so, here I sit with AAPL down between 4 and 5% in pre-market trading. Does one sell or buy?
Is this like Sony or Cisco, where the best of days seem bygone, or is this really the leading consumer tech companying on the planet?
We all knew this day would come. Pancreatic cancer is not pleasant or easily beaten and none of us live forever.
