Okay, well, here's a fact that might rouse Browser from its usual feline pattern of eat, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, poop, eat, sleep, sleep sleep sleep....
Very recently I (yes, me, the dyed-in-the-dog-fur unliker of cats) bought (with my own money!!!) a bunch of cat food and kitty litter for the local SPCA.
Don't ask me why. I don't want to talk about it.
But it's these kinds of moments of weakness that explain why we can never see the future: if I had known, on the morning of the day before making said purchases, that I would do such a thing - or that I was even capable of doing such a thing - I doubt that I would have been able to get out of bed that day. Or any day, for that matter. Life itself would have become impossible.
So thank goodness we can't see the future.
ElectricAye, that's an extraordinary act of good will! Browser and I are dying to know what possessed you! Did you find a stray, but the dog wouldn't let you keep it?
I have to confess, I was once a cat-hater, from a family of cat-haters -- until Browser happened on the scene. So I know that conversion from one's hating ways is possible -- and that it's okay to talk about it.
(ElectricAye will probably be embarrassed by my telling this, but he "friended" Browser in this forum. Browser, being totally into social networking, accepted, of course.)
I love cats!
I miss being able to have one around. I think watching a cat
lick and groom itself is somehow very relaxing.
There is a cat called the Israeli Sand Cat that is very rare. They
are trying to expand the population so they breed and care for them
in shelters here. They have a unique look...their heads are very wide.
I prefer animals over people. I can't pick a favorite between cats or dogs.....at litter box time, Dogs are great...when it's 10 below at 5am and someone needs to go for a walk, cats rock!!

Awwwwww, I want one (or two)!!!! Do they need to start a North American breeding program where the Sand cat is exposed to winter for 6 months and only sees sunlight for 3 months each year??? Welcome to Cleveland!!!!
