See Objects Through Transparent Plastic?

Which Parallax sensors can "see" or "detect" objects through transparent plastic?
The goal is to detect the presence of an object on the other side of a sheet of transparent plastic. Motion detect the object will also work. But it must be through the plastic.
Thanks for your input.

That's one that never gets mentioned in the forum for some reason. I wonder how many people have them and what they're being used for.

I haven't tried it myself, but now I'm curious to do so.
There was another one I ran across on the Memsic web site, the "Bumblebee", Mote-Scale Pulsed Doppler Radar for use in Wireless Sensor Networks

This concept has found its applications in non-contact keys or buttons through the glass front plate window etc
