What type of hardware connection is required to transmit analog audio to the television through stereo RCA connectors?

With a DUTY mode output from a counter, an RC low-pass filter is adequate. 560 ohms and 0.1 uF should work okay.

And you will require a dc isolation cap, 4.7uF-10uF. Electrolytic is fine.
You will need to duplicate this circuit for the second channel.
Look at Ahle's SIDcog thread (its currently on the first or second page of this forum at the moment).

Can someone help me locate the schematic for the SIDcog or any other audio output circuit?

Vega256: Here is my circuit values. C2 should be 4.7uF-10uF. BTW you should start a new thread for this.
