5 QTI maze solution

Hello i am tasked with programming a boe-bot with 5 QTI's to solve a maze and on the second run, not make any wrong turns. I have gotten and line following portion solved but am not able to find a solution that does not get confused. It gets stuck in the left hand turn mode and will not turn right. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try adding a shroud around the base of the robot and see if this helps?
