Integrating a Third Party 3-Axis Gyroscope, Need Help

Unfortunately I haven't seen a 3-Axis Gyroscope offered from Parallax. What I have found online is this little bugger which seems like a great sensor. http://garden.seeedstudio.com/index.php?title=Twig_-_3-axis_Gyro
I have looked at the data sheet and I am having trouble figuring out how to integrate it into my Basic Board.
My Question is I know about I/O and Pulsout but I haven't seen hex addresses and I am not sure how to access the data off the gyroscope and since I am not an EE I am a bit lost here.

If someone could offer any links to sites or offer some personal experience that would be very helpful and I would be grateful.

Here shortly, more specifically within the next month or so, you will be able to get the new 3-Axis Gyroscope from Parallax at your local Radio Shack. Compatability wont be an issue, and it has all the latest tech in it. If your local store is a franchise, they may not have it. However with a demand for a module comes a supply!
