BS2 with pot input and variable pulse output

I am sure that this has been covered before, but I am having trouble getting my BS2 to take an ADC voltage from a 5K pot, and output a constant 10ms pulse, with a variable length space from about .3 seconds to .9 seconds. This should be easy enough, however I am not getting the resulst that I expected. I will post my code as quickly as I can for scrutiny---More to come, Thanks jpyle

    Go to your 'built-in' help and click on 'Basic Stamp Manual.PDF' (you will find it on the pull down menu)

    Then jump to page 368 and see figure "a"

    Are you wired the same way?
