    Pololu must be so very proud to have their "parts" used here. Too bad they used a PIC, an Ardweenie might have been more appropriate.

    All these people are trying too hard. People just naturally like robots.     That project is 6 years old and is quite famous. In any case, the Arduino didn't exist then. And really, must every other thread on the forum these days somehow work in a potshot at Arduino and it's users? I'm not a huge Arduino fan, though I am a user of Processing, but personally, I think it would be alienating and insulting to any Arduino user who comes these forums. This is not the way to promote Parallax and it's products, and to be honest, it's getting tedious and dull.

    Two sexed robots and one SmartBot share a specially designed space, similar to a zoo exhibit.
    OK, the sexed bot gag is kind of obvious, but what the... ?
    SmartBot is a simple mobile robot that lives on a table fitted with a low border. The robot moves in a straight line until it hits the border. Then it blinks and says either "S**t" or "Merde" or "F**k" before resuming its hopeless exploration. After a few minutes it stops and cries luminous tears. Crying done it shuts its eyes, goes to sleep for a while, and starts all over again.
    OK, I am about as much up for a gag like this as anyone, but this strikes me as a bit trying too hard.

    The SmartBot has been reading Kafka. Thus, it leads a highly symbolic existence and mentors all of us in dealing with our angst and ennui. Yes! an electronic Congressman.
