How do you place hyperlinks in the forums?

I can easily copy and paste a url but how do you utilize just one word and make it a hyperlink to a url?

You can also (in edit mode) just click the little globe icon which says 'insert link' when you hover over it. This will show a little pop-up which lets you insert a link.

And when you want to demonstrate how to create a link or other bbcode-formatted text, you can use the [noparse][noparse] bbcode, thus:

which produces:

Edit: Ok. I figured it out. Spaces don't work before/after brackets. Thanks Phil.

Not quite: the braces around "now" need to be reversed, and there's no quote before url=. Take another look at my example above.
