BST Future

Hello:

Does anyone know if the BST tools will continue to be supported and updated on the MAC OS X platform?

I am wondering since i read a post that said bug were not being fixed. Since the tool haas a page on the Parallax web, does that mean Parallax will be taking over the tool?

I sure hope so. BST is great. Great, even if it's just used on Windows, which I do regularly, along with Mac.

Edit: Well, I hope Brad sees fit to continue. If not, then having Parallax do it would be a great second option.

The future depends on Brad, (the author). Parallax describes it as a third party tool, so Parallax endorses it, but does not support it.

There are some rumors indicating that Parallax MAY do something with it in the future, but they are also working on other tool chains at the moment.

Who knows?

Actually, (forgive my redundancy if this has idea has been and gone already) is there any possibility that Brad would be willing to put up the source code up as an open source project so that we could at a minimum maintain and possibly extend the tool as features are needed, bugs found and most importantly, to add support for the next generations of Prop chips as they are released. Has anyone approached Brad regarding this as a way to keep the tool current and valid?
