Why, yes, I am a proud Daddy of a 5 year old Engineer............

My daughter always wants to be a part of my toys. So I set her up with my recently retired BOE (has issues) and some wires/parts. She went to town plugging wires in and "making her invention". I even cut a small size ESD mat for the little wooden stool I made that she uses for stuff when she sits on the floor so she could have a proper workbench. :thumb:

Very cute! One of my <2 year old engineers also likes Daddy's toys. She gave me a big surprise today. I smelled something burning when I turned my computer on. It took me a while to find two dimes and a metal washer she stuck into a USB port and my SD & XD card slots. She "took out" one of my front USB ports, but at least the card readers still work.

I guess those card slots look like a piggy bank slot to her... ?

.... @erco, that reminds me of a front loading dvd player we "used" to have in the tv room ! After our daughter of similar of age finished hiding her pocket money and 2 or 3 barbie dvd's it never did work the same !! Mind, we realised she had an abundance of natural strength and determination!!

@WBA... Good job you made such a quality work-stool for your angel. 5 more years will fly in the blink of an eye; then she will need your main workbench and you will probably be "upgraded" to working from that stool !!!
