Erco: Thanks. Excellent link. David Buckley's robotics work is remarkable. He's made great achievements working with wood. We interviewed Mr. Buckley in an issue of Penguin Tech and he talks about how he designed the walking mechanism.
This is a great photo. Ken Gracey also has a remarkable lineup of large and small tilt stride walkers that were built before and after Toddler. But you won't find any made from wood in Ken's workshop. He believes in precision metal machining.
