Holographic hood ornaments

I am thinking of starting an automobile project entailing hologram technology, but I would like to know first if hologram technology is relatively cheap to experiment with.?.?.?.?

Although, "Help us Obi-wan Kenobi, you're our only hope"...would be a fascinating project ;-)

How about holographic car keys? That should keep some of us occupied for awhile. In fact, there might be a big market one day in holographic practical jokes.

True holograms have limited viewing angles. We made some of these in Physics Lab. However, new 3D TV technology is wide angle viewing.
