Great device, it looks as though that can allow power MOSfets to be driven directly from it.

And it is an excellent form factor for the Propeller 40pin DIP as it is 8 parallel lines that can be arbitarily input or output or in both directions.

Futurlec is selling a similar board for $4.90.

The Logic Converter Mini Board can be used to convert 3V outputs to 5V output or to convert 3V input to a 5V input. Ideal for use when connecting between a 3V Memory Card or Microcontroller. Selectable direction with a jumper mounted on the board.

I ordered a couple since I already planned on ordering some .1" female and male headers.
Futurlec sells them much cheaper than most places...

e.g. a 16 pin female header is $.25 versus $1.43 at Digikey
