Trouble using PLX-DAQ Real-Time Data Acquisition for Microsoft Excel

I downloaded PLX-DAQ Real-Time Data Acquisition for Microsoft Excel from the Parallax website, and I'm attempting to use it to acquire data from a BS2 that is collecting temperature data from two thermistors. The "connect" tab results in a failure to connect and the request that I check which port I'm using. I have a USB-serial connector in com4, but I can't get the plx-daq program to find it. Any suggestions or advice?

Are you using the "Debug" terminal in the BASIC Stamp Editor? If so, you'll need to turn it off, as it takes up the com port.

    Hello,

I am a beginner in propeller programming. Anyone familiar with PLX-DAQ? If yes, may I know how can I send data from Excel into propeller by PLX-DAQ? I already downloaded the PLX-DAQ documentation and examples from the Parallax website, but they do not provide any example on how to send data from Excel to propeller.
Can you provide some examples for me? Because there ain't many PLX-DAQ resources from the internet.

Thank you so much. Appreciate it.

    Zi.
