Who bought all the QFP Propellers from DigiKey today?!

    It wasn't today.

    I had 25 in an order. Yesterday I went to add a few more parts to the order (not yet submitted) and I found all the QFP Props were gone.

    Will Digi-Key going to get more in?

    The lead time only indicates how long it will take to get 25 chips, I'm not sure if they will get any in or not if I don't place the order.

    I thought $6.7916 each was a pretty good price.

    The first price break at Parallax is for 100 chips. Their price is $7.19 each if you buy 100.

    Anyone now of a supplier with price similar to Digi-Key's who have chips in stock?

    Maybe several of us could go in on an order of 100 Props from Digi-Key.

    I could use 25 myself (maybe a few more).

    Never mind. I went to look to see how much the Prop costs with an order of 100 at Digi-Key and their pricing stops at 25 chips.

    Maybe there's another supplier with a really good deal for 100 Props?

    I think I could make the purchase myself and divvy them up for everyone. Then those wanting chips could send me their share of the $ (plus postage). And I'd send them the chips.

    If I can find a good price for 100 chips and other people willing to buy at least 70 of them, I'll do it.

    I think I'd want a minimum quantity of 10 Props, or so, for those who might be interested.

    Digi-Key's price at 25 is better than Mouser's at 100. I think I'll backorder the chips from Digi-Key.

    The trick with DigiKey for higher-than-catalog quantities is to go through their quoting department. You will often find that there are unpublished price breaks above the ones posted.
