Xbee with Basic Stamp

Does this work well. Can the Xbee be programmed through BASIC to transmit like the parallax transceiver. I plan on using the Digi XBee 802.15.4 module with the SIP adapter. Thanks :cool:

Yes, a BASIC Stamp and XBee combination work just fine, and you'll find it far more capable than the Parallax transceiver. You will want to read the XBee documentation - because it does so many things, there's far more to know. The good news is that if all you want to do is to send data back and forth between two points, you only need a little of that knowledge. It will help a lot for you to work through the Getting Started with XBee RF Modules text:
