Interface PS3 Controller with Android phone

Hey everyone,
If any of you are looking to collaborate on an interesting challenge, I'm looking to interface a PS3 wireless controller (with bluetooth capacity) with an Android phone.
Any takers? I've got threads out on Android Central and XDA Developers as well. Looking to bring the communities together and figure this one out. I'm blown away that it hasn't been figured out yet so it's time to put our feet on the pavement and get this moving.

So...when you turn on the PS3 controller, the LED's flash until the unit comes on. That is some kind of handshake you need to decipher.

Once that's done, you just need to decode the button presses.

Oh wait...take a look at this;

Thanks for the heads up on that article. However, it looks like that is gearing more towards replacing the controller with a different device and still controlling the PS3 console, I'm looking at the other end of things, I wanna use the controller on a different device to control an Android emulator. There was still some useful stuff in there though.
