....by putting refurbished items up on Ebay....only to have me lose out to 20 other bidders.

    I saw the CMU cam and resisted the temptation to bid. Instead I bought a propeller backpack since it was the deal of the week. Besides being useful with my line scan camera, I have a crazy idea about building my own CMU cam.

    Thanks for not bidding on the CMU cam! I was the winner of that one. :) I'm probably going to modify it for higher baudrate and using it with a Prop.

    I noticed that in the forums, nobody mentioned bidding on anything until it was over. No need to stir up any competitive bids!

    Probably most of the bidders came from the Forums. I must have bid on 20 items, and I was the second highest on 19 of them! All I have to show for my trouble is one single BS2E... and its $8 postage. OUCH! Come on Bump, help a brother out!

    Yeah...no one wants to advertise...but I noticed after the fact that Parallax had a BIG banner on their main page anyhow.

    And, I was not really dismayed too much after seeing the final sale prices....I was not ready to go that high, though I did put a bid in the last 20 seconds. :)

    There was something I thought strange at the beginning of the auction. There were a bunch of TC S3200-DB Color Sensors initially listed. I bid on three of them. Very shortly thereafter they all disappeared.

    I thought if very strange to have the high bid on an item and not receive any notification that the item was no longer listed.

    @Duane: I had a bid on one too, and I DID get a retraction notice from Ebay that the listing was cancelled. It warned me not to be taken in by any nefarious side deals by the shady seller we know as Pbasic1. :)
