Thanks to MikeG, it looks like we have a stable version of the http server.

I've put Propellerpowered's spinneret back online at http://spinneret.propellerpowered.com

    Nice! The link at the bottom for the source isn't working though. I was wanting to see what the source would look like for something like that to see if I could use a Spinneret as a production floor display.

    Very nice OBC...

    FYI, I have a substantial update that I have not published yet. It should not affect your web too much.

    Added
    * Cache support
    * Upload (ASCII and binary)
    * SMTP
    * Kye's new FAT driver and RTC
    * Dispatch processor to execute SPIN logic

    I will post the source once more when I get it cleaned up. At the moment the conversion from .csv to .htm isn't on-the-fly.

    Just tried to check it out and it wouldn't load, is it down or is the problem that i'm using the browser on my android phone?

    The site is up so I'm not sure what the problem might be. Try hitting this URL http://spinneret.servebeer.com:5000/upload.htm. It will log your request and I can see if there is anything out of sorts with the HTTP request. And please provide the approximate time you hit the URL so I can find the request easily.

    I'm running a pretty heavy index.htm file. 22K IIRC..

    As soon as I can get my head around Kye's FAT driver, I'll have my .CSV to HTML fixed to convert the first time the program is run, then serve the index.htm file when requested.

    I just tried and failed with "data connectivity error", at approx 6:28 AM, EST, from android browser. So glad I could help provide error message. ;)

    There's no log so the request never made it to the server. I'll be able to test connectivity with a droid a little later today and report back.

    EGMono, I was not able to test Droid connectivity today. I suspect the problem is with your connection and not the web server as I've connected to the Spinneret with the Droid in the past. I believe your problem is more a networking issue.

    OBC, I published the new stuff. Big BUT... the code is raw! The core works and has been running a little over three weeks.

    Checked again a few minutes ago, was able to connect to spinneret.servebeer with both the built in android browser as well as firefox for android, but still having connection issues to spinneret.propellerpowered.

    Here's the Droid header
    GET /upload.htm HTTP/1.1
    Host: spinneret.servebeer.com:5000
    Accept-Encoding: gzip
    Referer: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?132485-Propellerpowered-Spinneret-Back-Up
    Accept-Language: en-US
    User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; DROID2 Build/VZW) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1 854X480 motorola DROID2
    Accept: application/xml,application/xhtml+xml,text/html;q=0.9,text/plain;q=0.8,image/png,*/*;q=0.5
    Accept-Charset: utf-8, iso-8859-1, utf-16, *;q=0.7

    Nothing out of the ordinary.

    Its working for me now! (Of course... i'm on the other side of the city and have a stronger signal; I guess that must make a big difference?)

    Update: yeah, it was my own home preventing me from connecting. As I bounced around the city trying it from here and there it connected fine, then back home I get connection errors. I was just thrown off that I could connect to the forums w/o trouble, but nothing on a spinneret unless I have a good, strong signal. (Which I won't be concerned about on a home network via wifi.)
