Brushless coils?

Does anyone know of a source for coils? I am considering building a brushless motor, and would like to do it with discrete coils and magnets. I am totally striking out finding coils. I can't even find relay coils. Any suggestions?

They are wound on the stator by the motor manufacturer. Adapting ready-made coils won't work very well.

Why do you want to build your own BLDC motor? It's a waste of time and money.

I need to build a water pump. My options are to watertight an existing bldc, or embded stator and rotor within the pump block. We currently are using some junk brushless 24v pumps from china that have been giving fits.

Interesting.... Now I really want to know why you want a DC water pump!

I've wound my own before. The results were less than pathetic..... I mean they worked, but the efficiency was terrible, very poor torque to power. Servos are available in an almost infinite variety of size, shaft, voltage and waterproof-ness. I'm trying to remember who I just saw had a completely sealed BLDC servo.... Hmmmm. Anyways, there's Kollmorgen, Delta, Baldor, Dayton, Sure Servo, Oriental Motor and lots more. Some are very reasonable, while Kollmorgen is crazy expensive.
