DTMF tones via Demoboard mic?

We've got some primitive speech recognition happening. (OBEX) Has anyone done anything with "hearing" DTMF tones from the mic of the demoboard yet?

Some additional work needs to be done (in Spin) to recognize connected vs. discrete DTMF codes, so individual digits can be decoded. But the essential tone-recognition elements are all there.

Combine this with a cell-phone set to auto answer and you've got the makings of a cheap remote system.

what about cell phone software,
i mean a cell phone application which can decode the received DTMF and converts it to commands to the O/P terminals on that cell like serial port in Nokia S60.
