Parallax GPS module

Hello all,

I have the old GPS module, bought it about 2 years ago. I was wandering if I could bump up the baud rate on that? Let's say at 9600?

Hey blankk,

Unfortunately, no. The baud rate for that module is set in the firmware, and there isn't a way to reprogram the SX co-processor.

Just to expand on what Jessica said...The module is hackable..

but the actual GPS module, (not the SX), is set for 4800 baud. This is normal for older NMEA modules.
