Stamp 2 BOE to Parallax 27113 board

My project goal is to drive multiple AC and DC motors on my robot arm using the BS2. The arm is built and functions currently using wired switches separate from anything digital.
I am trying to connect my BS2 BOE to a Parallax Digital I/O Board (#27113). I am thinking that the easiest way to do this is with the 20 pin (2x10) male pins on the I/O board, and the similar female slots on the stamp BOE board. Try as I might, I cannot find an extension cable or solution???
Is there a sequence of steps to go from where I am (everything unlinked) to having my Stamp talking to my I/O Board, my power supplies plugged into the board, and the motor outputs out the other side?
