These are cool too...about 60.00 USD
It occurred to me that if you could get some of the
antique picture tubes from those old scopes and
generate the needed voltages you could make some
cool art projects using them with a propeller. The
Prop's precision timing would allow some really great
display hacks I would think.
OK, you've talked me into it! Do you already have my address.... ;-)
No! At least one should be a donation to a church...
in Louisiana...
Mine arrived a couple of weeks ago. It's nicely designed and is very small. I'm planning on using it with my breadboards or as a simply user interface (its hackable).
Thanks,
Bean
Looks like a DSO Nano: http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/micro-digital-storage-oscilloscopedso-nano-p-512.html
There's a newer version, too: http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/dso-nano-v2-p-681.html?cPath=174&zenid=986f8c3213370c4ec80b7438b8c0b882
You can find them at a number of places, typically for $90 - $100. I don't think I've seen one for $60, but I haven't looked.
I usually don't quote ebay prices. Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with it, but it's too easy to find disreputable dealers (in general). But, yes, if you search there you can find lower prices.
The new version of the 2 channel DSO Nano is typically $90-$100 (not ebay price). The 4 channel DSO Quad is about $200, a significant jump in price.
As already stated, they are all over ebay for around this price.
It's an ARM design I think.
As said before, there is a new version out.
