iPhone App to read vBulletin - options?

Given that the Parallax forum runs vBulletin, a well supported application, I suspected there might be an iPhone app that would render the pages in a mobile format. (I am new to the iPhone, so have not figure out all the ins and outs).

A quick search shows to options: Tapatalk (2.99) works natively with vBulletin. However it requires something to be configured on the WebServer. Any chance that is already in place on the Parallax forum? Works for both Android and iPhone. More info here: http://www.tapatalk.com/

Another option was ForumRunner. Doesn't look as slick as Tapatalk. More info here: http://www.forumrunner.net/

Thought I would ask before buying any apps to see what is possible or what others are already using? I follow a couple other forums on vBulletin, haven't followed-up yet. Only had the iPhone since Fri.

Thanks!

I didn't know there was an app for that. I always assumed one would use Mobile Safari. I never use my iPhone for web browsing, so I never looked into a dedicated program.

Why does an iPhone need an app to surf these forums? It has a browser doesn't it?
I check the forums on my android phone all the time. If I don't have much to say I can post replies quite easily as well.

Why does an iPhone need an app to surf these forums?

So that you can access all of your forums from a central App, similar to Yahoo Groups.

And also so that the formatting is consistent across the various Forums.

Reading some of these Forums on an iPhone and even an iPad can be quite a challenge.

What I do is save a bookmark of the forum main page on my Home Screen on my iPhone. Tap it and it launches the page.

    To do this:
From the page you want to save tap on the box with the arrow coming out of it. That gives you the option of adding bookmark ect.

    Hope this helps.
