I have a few Parallax BS2 boards and on two of them the servo connectors don't work and the IR program won't light up the IR LEDs. i need help figuring out what is wrong, please.

I would check the Vdd header for 5 volts with the power on to see if the voltage regulator is blown.

The voltage regulator is replaceable if its bad. part# LM2940CT

The BS2 has its own 5 volt regulator and it takes power in on the Vin pin.

I assume that you are using the breadboard to wire the IR LEDs, double check your wiring. Make shure that your board doesn't have anything that could short the soldering underneath. Next, check thar the servos are plugged in the correct way. Double check that the power switch is slid all the way to the breadboard. Then, if all else fails, take a camcorder (or other video camera that is Digital and can record video) and point it at the IR LEDs and look on the LCD of the video camera for blobs of greyish light where the IR LEDs are. Finally, double check your program!!
