Missing Schematics

I notice that schematics are missing from the documentation for these two products:

Could these be provided, either within the docs or separately on their product pages, please?

Also, it would be helpful if, at the bottom of each QuickStart lesson, a link could be provided to the next lesson in the series, along with a final link after Lesson 6 back to the product page.

Thanks,
-Phil

I made the schematics for the QS board available here:

They were generated from the design files.

Thanks, Leon! Perhaps Parallax could adopt your work if they don't already have a schematic. Do you happen to know which parts the various glue ICs are?

    I just checked in DipTrace:

    U1 - P8X32A
    U2 - 24LC256ST
    U3 - FT232RL
    U4 - 74LVC126A
    U5 - 74HC541

I think that's all the ICs.

I can't think why they left them off the schematic, I always include them on mine.

    Leon,

Relooking at your schematic, are you sure that Vdd for U5 is 3.3V and that it's an HC part and not HCT? I could see driving the blue LEDs with a higher voltage, but I don't see what's gained by buffering them at 3.3V.

    Thanks,

I haven't really looked at them in detail, I just used PrimoPDF to generate them from DipTrace. U5 is definitely an HC part with a 3.3V supply. Perhaps they are buffered like that so that users can use direct connections to the pins for other purposes.

I've tried to export them from DipTrace as PCAD files so that I can import them into the Pulsonix software I use, but lots of stuff is missing. Novarm knows about the problem but doesn't seem able to fix it.
