Special arrow shaped LEDs??

Real quick. I've been searching for quite some time. I had some unique LEDs in a box of junk a long time ago. The box is since gone..... rectangle shapes, bar graphs and little green arrows!

Has anyone seen an arrow shaped LED?? All I can find are LED arrow signs and that's not what I'm looking for.

I swear some company made an arrow component LED!! The more I look, the more I'm afraid this was a special purpose part and never to be found again.


Alternatively, lighting a shaped piece of plastic is a pretty miserable excuse.... maybe I'm not using the right plastic or?

Mouser has them, well two of them anyway. One red and one green. I had to use a keyword "triangle" when searching standard thru-hole LEDs. Their search engine kept returning "narrow" when I searched on "arrow".

Yea, you are exactly right. Use the correct search term and viola! Arrow LED come up with 1000 results related to Arrow electronics and arrow "This way" signs and motorcycle turn signals and... and... ARG!

TRIANGLE! Duh.... Oh well. Thank you all again.
