did anybody test the Speech Recognition Test Software?

Hi,

I'm writing this in the testforum to keep the propeller-forum clean.

A long time ago there was a hot discussion about a machine intelligence approach.

The initiator of this thread wrote some promises he could not hold in a certain time.
The "vibes" of the thread turned to a mode that was against forum rules.
It was one of the very seldom cases that the admin closed a thread.

There seems to be some progress in their work
A Speech Recognition Test Software is available there.
Did anybody test this software or analysed it?

I still have a great doubts that the whole hing is working. I even think sometimes it's just making money
with promises that can't be hold.

But somehow I'm very curious about their progress.
So did somebody test their software?

I don't provide any links. Only people that were part of the discussion in the past will know what I mean.
and can answer this questions
best regards

Stefan

'Didn't test, nor would I. The Spin source is not free and, I assume, not open source. Just by possessing or viewing it, one leaves himself open to litigation, should he ever independently develop anything similar. In short, not with a ten-foot pole!

The website promises independent test results in "the next issue" of Robot magazine, and that was awhile ago. I don't subscribe. Did anyone see such an article?

I've been looking at their web site from time to time, but haven't seen anything that convinces me that that they have anything interesting. I don't think that any member of this forum owned up to buying any of their products, although they were asked to contribute to the discussion going on at the time.
