Question about Motion Coding for Sumo-Bot

My teacher has given me the sumo-bot to work on in class, I am also working on it now on the weekends, I have just finished the motion testing and I am trying to get the bot to go in the square, triangle and figure-8 patterns, but I have a question. I am curious as how to time things, I believe it is in the "FOR pulses x TO x" part of each strand but I am not quite sure. If it is this area, could someone please post a quick reference chart on which is which and if not could someone please explain to me how to time things. Any help is appreciated ;)

Timing the sumo and boe bots is pretty much a trial and error process. Unfortunatly the servos used for drives are not very accurate and so you need to modify the number of loops and sometimes the pause time to get what you want. Start with basic code, nothing fancy and test each routine until you get what you are looking for.
