Propeller mentioned in Digi-Key TechZone

I received my copy of TechZone today titled "Sensor Solutions". There is an article by Tom Cantrell titled "Seeing (Infra)Red" where Tom uses a Propeller to evaluate a Vishay smart IR proximity sensor. Interesting article and some good exposure for Parallax and the Prop.

I got one of these a couple days ago. The first 66 pages are going to keep me busy for months. Has anybody started any projects using the theory presented?
