Have you enabled cookies? Doing so will keep you logged in forever if you also click "Remember me?"

Cookies are enabled, i.e. "remember cookies from sites I visit."
Cookies from Parallax are confirmed saved for password and user name.
Also, cookies are enabled in all three computers with the same result.

Apparently after making the settings on the Mac and then rebooting, it kept me logged in overnight - now it's the next day and it's working well with this post. I'll run another test with a longer times post but all seems well now after the reboot.

Just a follow-up. It works so well on the Mac, it remembers and keeps the log-in for as many days as I wish to specify and the bonus is that no posts are lost. I can also specify in the MAC OSX to keep just the Parallax cookie and delete or refuse the others. I should have moved to a Mac computer a lot sooner.

The choice of cookie treatment has zilch to do with your choice of operating systems. It's strictly a a browser function. Opera has the capability you cite on all platforms.
