That's too bad. I thought that with their intended push into the professional developer market with the Propeller they would have a booth to show off their stuff.
This is touted as a "multicore" expo, so the bandwagon is definitely in town. Parallax had a presence at earlier ESC events, and I can attest (without bias!?) that the their booth was always one of the most exciting, always a crowd, and a refreshing break from enigmatic "Solutions Providers".
It's expensive, very expensive, to put up a booth at these events, and Parallax may want to be sure the Prop II is fully ready to ship before committing to a release under their new image.
For locals in the SF bay area, free exhibit registration is open thru tomorrow. http://esc.eetimes.com/siliconvalley/?cid=EET_EXP3
I plan if time permits to get down there on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sal, are you planning to drop in there one day?
Just in case anyone else is considering going, Steve Wozniak will be giving a "Fireside Chat" prior to the Keynote Addresses. That alone makes it worth going.
