ADC0834 Discontinued?

I finally used an ADC0831 and fell in love with it this month. I'm ready to expand with it's quad brother the ADC0834 and Parallax (the cheapest source around for either IC) has discontinued it?

Are ADC's "so last week" in our rapidly-changing world?

Am I the last guy trying to make (four) analog devices relevant in our go-go-go digital world?

I'm gonna take my plywood, relays and Sharp analog sensors and go home to my cave.

I didn't see where it was discontinued, just out of stock. As to being late for the bus, do you know they make micros with these things built in?

@Leon: Thanks! Digikey is actually sold out of the 0834 DIP version, but they do have the 0832 and 0838 in stock.

Mouser only has 0831's and just 15 of them!

@Franklin: It says discontinued at the top. Sure some fancy new uCs have ADC's built in, but not my drawerful of Stamps!
