Firefighting Compettition

My partner and I are entering the Firefighting Competition using the Boe-Bot. We plan to use the MLX90614 Infrared Thermometer as our main sensor to locate the flame (a small lit candle) however we are new to the sensor and need help with programing a 'roaming with' code, any help will be greatly appreciated.

It looks like there's an object for this sensor in the Propeller OBEX.

I've never used it, but perhaps it can give you some ideas.

spin is a language that Propeller chips use. You can download the free software for working with it here:

On that page, there is also a link to software that allows you to work with SPIN on a Mac, etc.
