US sends robots to Japan...

The US is sending robots to Japan to help out. Most people would expect that they would have plenty of robots there already. It's good that we can help out....

    Japan has lots of humanoid robots, not specifically designed to go into a power plant and withstand high levels of radiation.

    Yes, our sending robots to Japan does rather seem like sending oil to Saudi Arabia, doesn't it? But maybe we have the edge in hazmat robotics. I seem to recall that we sent robots to Chernobyl, too, but I could be mistaken.
