A Prop enabled Gender Changer

Greetings all,

I've been applying the squeezulator to shrink the prop down towards something approaching a gender changer. The VGA connection is made with the help of a tiny board at right angles to the main board.

As part of this endeavor I've worked out a footprint for the C3 style memory footprint that is just 1" long. I'll post this shortly.

Ultimately I'm trying to fit into the form factor of a D9 right angle female connector, to make it ultra easy to add a C3 enabled rendering Prop to other legacy or new projects.

    Looks impressive. How many layers do you need to use on your boards to get them that small?

    very nice :) Guess you should say that the connector on the prop pcb is for a microSD card !
    I suspect it's all 2 layer pcbs.

    Yes, just 2 layers, plus a couple of wire links. In fact the memory subsection is really a single layer (except the uSD connector)

    Good point Cluso those don't look big enough to be a uSD holder. I'll annotate the pics to convey it better.
