Setting Tags from Intenet Explorer to Spinneret Server

Sockets Ports HTTP XHtml are getting confusing especially if you don't really work with this daily . I have
the spinneret server and thanks to the spin source files (particularily the One from Brilldea W5100 Web Page Demo indirect Ver. 00.1) have some useful activity of serving up a html page (thanks) I would like to be able to set a
variable by a button or hypertext click from the web page back to the spinneret. Any suggestions.
