Boe Bot IR Question

Hi All...

Experimenting with Bob, I've found that an IR remote can cause him to act, um... erratically (He has the Ping sensor with IR). I was wondering if the Stamp (or slightly off-topic, the Propellor) can be programmed to decode the IR signal from a generic teevee/stereo/vcr remote.

I've looked through the a lot of forums and haven't found anything specific about this, though I've seen that IR remotes can be used to control the Bot.

Not asking for a "how-to", just suggestions if this is possible... links would be gratefully accepted too! ;-)

I also think that the Downloads & Resources of the 3 Function Universal Remote is a very good source of information. Basically the interesting PDF file is mentioned above by erco.

You could follow the remote pattern of the Penguin robot. Check the soccer program, and other specific remote programs. They work with the sony standard.
