A better definition of "Noise" that can cause regressions in the prop tool ide

It's just a way of clumping all distractions together and giving it one name.

For me the television, some music genres, people talking nearby, a book that is difficult to read, a book with many distractions (or just busy layout), lack of contrast between print and background, Sans Serif fonts, etc. They are all distractions, or "noise."

You want to group everything you don't like, for whatever reason
or non-reason, into this category you label noise.

For people that have problems with regressions as they read; "Noise" is just a word that makes sense to describe what causes the regressions while reading. However, it doesn't cover regressions that occur because of a lack vocabulary. In a previous thread about the Prop Tool IDE, I stated there was a lot of "noise" associated with the Prop Tool. This, noise, leads to regressions while using the Prop Tool. I think a good example is to compare the Basic Stamp and SX ide's to the Prop Tool.

Certainly not all people have problems with regressions, but if the Prop Tool is updated to accommodate the Prop 2, it should be designed around excepted norms that promote readability.
