I need to line up complete production for various PCB designs and would like to get turn key capability. What companies would be recommended for short runs of maybe 100 boards at a time.

Where are you located? Is Asia an option, or would you prefer to keep in USA/EU?

    US OPTIONS:
There are a couple of guys on the Forum who could help, Brian Carpenter and James Long. See this thread
    http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?106016-board-manufacturing
    also...
Screaming Circuits (who use Sunstone Circuits for their PCB manufacture)

    CHINA options:

scroll down to the bottom of the page. The lower-most combo box has a $288 offer for PCB + stencil + assembly, presumably for 200 square inches?? Double check this.
they apparently have an agent in US that might make communication easier

Do both PCBs and Assembly, and are easy to talk with on Skype

Can you provide a little more detail? There's a vast selection of EMS providers in the US for the low-mid volume levels.

    How many different PCBs?
    Complexity level? (SMT/TH/Layer count/RoHS/etc/etc)
    BOM Line items?
100 each run can mean a lot of different things depending on if that is monthly, quarterly, annual, etc, so do you have an EAU for each? (estimated annual usage)

I have been using ourpcb, they are doing ok. I have had a little trouble with some of my .4mm pitch stuff, and some of the mlf's, but for the most part, they do ok. The prices are reasonable enough to deal with it.

As a representative of Sunstone, we'll be happy to help with your small production runs. While our specialty is the quick-turn prototype-sized job, we also have a "full featured" service that allows you not only more control of the manufacturing parameters, but also allows you more room to trade off lead times for savings. We're particularly good at the production runs in the quantities of hundreds. And we ship on time more than 99% of the time - that's a huge benefit, if you've ever had your boards hung up in international shipping.

We sure hope to help you with your projects, Eric. Contact us 24/7/365. We'll be there.

I use Advanced Circuits www.4pcb.com. They have a nice prototype pricing @ $33 each but you have to order 4 then you get one free.

I use Sunstone all the time for small quantity PCB runs.
I'm often surprised by early shipments. Quality is always perfect.
Also, from Sunstone to me UPS ground is "just a day away."

I just ran a test quote from Sunstone's PCBExpress service (2-day turn): 5ea. 12" x 5" (60 sq. in.) boards, 2-side, SM SS, tin-plated, 100 holes: $620.00. The same job (up to 2100 holes) with a 5-day turn from Advanced Circuits would be $132 ($182 if you have more than one board in the panel -- not sure Sunstone even allows that).
