My buddy replied:
"These are Black Label (better specs), but do you want to pay double just for that? 1 TB for $70 is not a good deal when 2 TB are available for that price."

Will advise If he comes back with a source for 2 GB drives at that price. Hard to believe.

Be careful of WD, depending on the HDD they may only last you 6 months, but hey, at least they will replace it when it breaks! I should have talked to a friend who used to run a computer store before buying that 250gb refurbished WD HDD. Heck, I should have wondered why geeks had so many refurbished WD hard drives in the first place!

Good luck either way, probably wouldn't be a problem if used for backup.

I have a couple of dozen 2.0 and 4.0 GB drives I'll sell for less than $75

(I know you meant 2 TB) We have been typing GB for so long, it's hard to get used to TB.
