    The article says that iron becomes superconducting if exposed to air for a long time, but that beer, wine and other alcoholic drinks accelerate this process. It also says that it may not be caused by the alcohol, since it is independent of the alcoholic content, but it may be caused by improved contact with oxygen.

    Wow, isn't this kind of like discovering that iron rusts faster when it gets wet? The scientists must have been drinking at the same bar as some reporters. :)

    Did April 1st come early this year? I noticed that they didn't give a temperature for superconductivity.
