Propeller Talking Keyboard

Here's a talking keyboard program.

Try it with a Parallax Demo Board, Keyboard and TV.
Press the key and you'll see it on the TV and hear it spoken by the Propeller.
For example, press the number 1 key, and you'll see 1 appear on the display
and hear the Propeller speak, "one."

Here's the list of Talking keys:
a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, (comma ,) (period .) (semicolon ;) (apostrophe ')
(question mark ?) (colon ) (equal sign =) (plus +) (hyphen -) (underscore _)
(right parenthesis )) (left parenthesis () (star *) (ampersign &) (carot ^)
(percent %) (dollar sign $) (number #) (at @) (exclamation point !) (space )

Type a lower/upper case letter, number, punctuation or special character.
It appears on the TV and is spoken. Keyboard can be in lower or upper case. For
example, with keyboard lock on, the uppercase letter A is spoken as "capital A."

Starts with a blue screen, main title has white characters, instructions are blue
with a yellow background, typed text is white on a red background.

It will talk all the upper and lower case keys in the alphabet, all numbers, and
some special characters. - see the list of Talking Keys.
If a character is not recognized, it will announce "unknown character."

    Fun stuff! Now just get a speech to text and we will be all set.

    This looks like a pretty nice and practical application.

    A TV Speak and Spell with big letters and pictures would be a great application for my grandson since he's really into keyboards and ABC's.

    That is neat! I'll have to set it up for my kids too... I'm sure Chip is happy that someone is using his vocaltract code...
